It is part of our self-image to protect natural resources and to use them as effectively as possible. We always endeavor to avoid pollution and damage to the environment caused by possible production processes from the outset.

When choosing our suppliers and service providers, we also consider the ecological aspect as well as the economic aspects. Every employee of the entire Sauermann company is encouraged to act responsibly and in an environmentally friendly manner in order to use natural resources as effectively as possible.

To name just a few examples that document our ongoing efforts towards sustainability, here is a brief insight into our projects:

We have converted all the lighting in our operating and production facilities to LED technology, which has enabled us to noticeably reduce our electricity consumption.
By installing the photovoltaic system in Freinhausen (750 kW), we are already able to produce a considerable proportion of the energy we need ourselves.
Heat recovery from our compressor systems enables us to supply the sanitary facilities and shower rooms for our employees in shift operation with heat and hot water.
By working closely and responsibly with our employees, we have already been able to make small and large contributions to sustainability in dozens of areas.
